I’m REALLY sorry for neglecting this site once more. Truth is, school is taking it’s toll on me and I just can’t steal some time to sit down and update my sites. That’s why I’m putting this site on a short hiatus. Don’t worry, it’s not for too long. In early July everything’s over and I can add all those goodies I have saved for you guys. See you in July! :)

Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart and Natalie Portman are in the running to star in the remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. An Education actress Carey Mulligan and Juno star Ellen Page are also reportedly keen to take on the lead role in the new version of the film – based on the novel by Swedish author Stiegg Larsson – with Keira Knightley, Mia Wasikowska and Scarlett Johansson also said to want the part. However, director David Fincher is said to be unsure whether he wants to cast an established star or an unknown actress. A source told website Deadline.com: “David is not sure if he wants to go with an actress of any note or go with an unknown. David’s process is very specific and private. He’s looking for authenticity and a degree of fierceness and believability capable of delivering the intensity that the part on the page calls for.” Brad Pitt is believed to have been offered the male lead in the film. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – a Swedish version of which was released in cinemas earlier this year – is the first in a trilogy, followed by The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest.

“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe and “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson both landed on the list of Britain’s richest people under 30. According to Britain’s Sunday Times annual rich list, Radcliffe leads the pack — he has garnered an impressive $64.5 million since landing the boy wizard role in 2001. He is followed by Keira Knightley, who is worth $42 million, according to the list. Radcliffe’s co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint follow with $33.8 million and $31 million respectively. Pattinson, who sunk his teeth into a vast fortune since taking the lead in the “Twilight” movies, is the fifth-richest movie star under 30 in the U.K. The hunky Brit has won a legion of fans playing vampire Edward Cullen in the bloodsucking blockbuster franchise, and his following has helped him amass a huge $19.5 million fortune.

JUST when Keira Knightley was getting fed up with her boyfriend’s lack of commitment, he has come up with a ring. Actor Rupert Friend has been Keira’s lover for four years since they met on the set of Pride & Prejudice, and likes to think of himself as a “wanderer, a bit of a gypsy” (or commitment-phobe, as her friends see it). So, to celebrate her 25th birthday, Rupert took her out for breakfast and presented her with a gold and diamond ring. Sadly there was no mention of an engagement, let alone a future wedding. Instead he told her it was a “token of his love”. Those who know Teddington-born Keira say that the star of such films as The Duchess and Pirates Of The Caribbean is “deeply frustrated” that Rupert refuses to talk about marriage. “Keira is beginning to feel broody and wants to feel Rupert is committed to being her partner for life,” discloses one actress who is a friend of the couple. “Still, she was thrilled to get the ring. Rupert says he wants to ‘establish himself firmly’ before even considering the idea of a family. He’s a nomad who doesn’t own a proper home.” That’s all very well for Mr Friend , who has enjoyed nowhere near as much success as Ms Knightley, who has four films coming out this year and has two lined up for next year. “Still,” concludes the couple’s chum, “the ring is a start.”

Kristen Stewart is facing competition from British beauty Keira Knightley. Keira is said to be top choice with Twilight teen Kristen to replace Angelina Jolie as the new hitgirl on Wanted 2. “As soon as Angelina declared herself out of Wanted 2, Keira was in the running,” says a movie insider. “The producers feel she and James McAvoy can bring the same kind of chemistry to the project as they had on Atonement. Kristen is the other choice but it would be very much a different dynamic. “One of them look certain to get the role.” Angelina’s character, Fox, was killed off at the end of the first film, but director Timur Bekmambetov had previously told of his plans to bring her back in the second installment. “We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because there is a bullet inside her head,” he said. “But there has to be a reason for her to come back — and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back.” Kristen is scheduled to film the fourth Twilight film, Breaking Dawn — which will be released in two parts — around October this year; although the film’s producers have not yet specified a start date for shooting, which has affected actors involved with which other projects they are able to take on.

Director Gurinder Chada, who launched Keira Knightley in her hit film ‘Bend It Like Beckham’, didn’t think the actress would be so successful. However, the helmer admitted that she found something special in Knightley, who has starred in hits such as ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’. “There was something very special about Keira when she walked through the door,” the Mirror quoted her as saying. She added: “And I knew there was because I cast her, but I didn’t realise she would be perhaps the most bankable star in Britain today.”
