Hey everyone, this is Kathy.  I used to own this site before handing it over to Anca.  She’s taken great care of the site, but I am back on as a kind of co-web.  I’ll be updating with new pictures and such.  To start with, I added new pictures from Keira’s appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman as well as her appearance at the Rodarte ’09 Collection Celebration.  I also uploaded new pictures to a few older albums.  Previews and links are below.

Here’s another batch of great pictures from Keira shooting her new movie Last Night in New York City on November 05. As usual, she looked extremely beautiful!

“Last Night,” a romantic drama starring Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes, is being picked up by Miramax in a $4 million multiple-territory deal. The film revolves around a married couple (Knightley and Sam Worthington) separated for a night when the husband takes a business trip with a colleague he desires (Mendes). While he’s away, his wife encounters her past love (Guillaume Canet). The specialty division is closing a deal for rights in North America, the U.K., Australia/New Zealand, Latin America, Brazil and South Africa. Gaumont and Nick Wechsler Prods. are producing the first feature from Tadjedin, who is writing an untitled project for Steven Spielberg. Principal photography is under way in New York City, with Wechsler producing. CAA packaged the film and co-repped North American rights with Gaumont and Endeavor. Gaumont is handling worldwide sales and will distribute the film in France.

Keira Knightley hates exercise. She explains, “I decided I wanted to get fit because my flat is on the top floor without a lift and I was finding it quite difficult to get up the stairs. “So I joined a gym but I hated it. But it had lovely water. “It had all cucumber chopped up into it. So I sat there in my work out gear sipping my nice water watching everyone else working out. “I did it in the end. I just went on a cross trainer and had someone yelling at me telling me to squat. But I hated it.”

Colin Farrell, Ralph Fiennes, and Keira Knightley are all in the lead for the most nominations for this year’s British Independent Film Awards. Farrell has been nominated for his best actor for his role in In Bruges. Fiennes has received two nominations in the supporting actor category for The Duchess and for In Bruges. And Keira has received noms for best actress in The Duchess. She competes with her co-star in The Edge of Love, Sienna Miller for best supporting actress. Michael Sheen will be honored at the award ceremony next month for his achievements during his career. Sheen will receive an award for bringing global recognition to the British film industry. The award show is November 30th.

Keira Knightley, who’s shooting Last Night in SoHo with Sam Worthington, can’t get any relief from pesky paparazzi. A spy reports, “The DKNY store on Thompson Street has basically become her trailer and refuge.
